Refurbished Staff Room in Surgical 5
The Friends donated two sofas, a table and four chairs, a storage unit, a fridge and a microwave to transform a drab and dreary room to a cheerful room for the staff to relax and eat in during their break.
Wall murals and lamp for the paediatric waiting room in the Day Surgery Unit
The Friends donated wall murals and a lamp to make the paediatric waiting room in the Day Surgery Unit more welcoming and child friendly. We are happy to see the difference it makes to the room. The paediatric nurses are happy to see the change too.
Hairdressing Service for long stay patients
The Trust Volunteer Service is commencing a hair dressing service aimed at long stay patients with limited ability. The Friends are happy to support this service by donating funds to purchase consumables. e.g. shampoo, conditioner, brushes, etc.
